A Personal Welcome from Dr. Marando
Dr. Andrew Timothy Marando earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with distinction from Brock University and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) Degree, graduation cum laude, from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
With a lifelong commitment to continuing Education, Dr. Marando is an active member of several professional dental organizations and study clubs, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest advancements in dental care and technology.

When he’s not in the dental office, Dr. Marando loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, seeking new adventures in Europe, hitting the ski slopes, staying active with workouts, and exploring new restaurants around the community. These Passions help him stay energized, connected, and inspired-both in life and in his practice.
Fun Fact! Dr. Marando is an avid yoyo collector who can still pull off a few tricks-gravity permitting!
Meet Dr. Vertesi
Family Dentist, Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Deanna Vertesi grew up in Burlington and is happy to now call the Niagara Region home. She graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario with both a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Dr. Vertesi joined the team at Marando Family Dentistry in 2017 and feels very fortunate to be part of the Pelham community. She loves getting to know her patients and is passionate about providing quality, patient-centred care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Outside of the office, Dr. Vertesi enjoys spending time with her partner, Dave, and their dog, Rhubarb. Together, they enjoy camping, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
